Others have opted for more conventional means such as training and weapons. Either way, the drive to survive has pushed people to the extreme.
But in a world where enhancements can make the difference between life and death, the line between humanity and machine becomes blurred. The quest for survival can lead to the loss of empathy and compassion, and the enhancement of physical abilities can come at the expense of mental and emotional balance.
